Description

Former Northern Lighthouse Board ship, Fingal, was commissioned in 1963 and was the last ship to be built by the Blythswood Shipbuilding Company in Glasgow. For over 36 years, Fingal ferried lighthouse keepers, essential supplies and maintenance staff to the lighthouses throughout the West Coast and north of Scotland.

Fingal opened in January 2019 as Scotland’s first luxury floating hotel in the historic Port of Leith.

Fingal offers a unique setting for board meetings, off sites and company events. With 22 beautifully appointed cabins on board, your guests can even enjoy the seclusion and elegance of having the entire ship to themselves.

Each cabin is a haven of comfort & calm, designed to evoke 1930s elegance, and named after a lighthouse served by Fingal when she was in service.  The jewel in the crown is the magnificent Skerryvore Suite, with its own private deck.
