The Barn @ Barra Castle delivers the dream combination of stunning location, picture-perfect views and stylish interior. Contemporary features and traditional characteristics compliment the underfloor heating and wood burning stove guaranteeing your guests comfort whatever the weather. The flexible interior can be seamlessly adapted for conferences, away days, family BBQ’s and good old Dinner Dances.
The Lodges @ Barra Castle are set in the A-listed Castle grounds. The three idyllic gate house conversions offer luxury accommodation for the business traveller, family or couple seeking a romantic getaway.
Barra Berries and Farmshop – open June-October, we sell our delicious raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. Our fruit can be on the shelves within an hour of picking. Our cafe provides a relaxing place to meet friends while the outdoor terrace is the perfect spot for catching the sunshine, when the Scottish weather allows! We serve freshly ground Caber coffee and a selection of homemade cakes. But the best bit is our real fruit ice cream – made to order using a specialised machine all the way from Australia. We were the first in the UK to import one, now we have three! Come and try for yourself.
